Texas A&M aquaculture facility celebrates 40 years of service

The Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences at Texas A&M University is celebrating a special 40th anniversary along with Texas A&M AgriLife Research, which recently co-sponsored a workshop about doing business with Cuba. The department’s Aquaculture Research and Teaching Facility is turning 40 and has honored the occasion with a new renovation of the pond and surrounding complex. The aquaculture facility is located on 40 acres near College Station, Texas, and is jointly run by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, and AgriLife Research’s wildlife and fisheries sciences division.
