UT Health Science Center Research Reveals KDM1 may represent a new therapeutic target for glioma

The latest research conducted by post doctoral fellow, Gangadhara R. Sareddy at Vadlamudi Laboratory at The University of Texas Health Science Center suggests that the KDM1 protein can be used as a potential therapeutic target for glioma management. The KDM1 protein acts as a lysine demethylase enzyme that increases the activity of tumor suppressor genes.
