The current FDA-approved breast cancer diagnostic methods are unable to efficiently detect all metastasizing breast cancer cells to the brain. The latest discovery by Texas-based researcher Dario Marchetti, however, is expected to be helpful in the early detection of tumor circulating cells that are missed by CellSearch platform.
