A team of researchers from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) have conducted a breakthrough study exploring the concept of inflammatory processes contributing to the occurrence and progression of Parkinson’s Disease (PD). By injecting a concentrated, single-dose inflammatory agent in an animal subject, the researchers discovered changes in brain tissue similar to those observed in the disease process of PD.
