San Antonio-Based Diagnostics Research Group Investigates New Osteoarthritis Treatments

Diagnostics Research Group, a San Antonio-based research clinic, has announced that they are working in conjunction with pharmaceutical companies to test drugs currently unavailable to the public that are meant to treat osteoarthritis (OA), which is the most common form of arthritis. Experts say that some of the main causes of osteoarthritis are genetics, age, and obesity, with the latter especially responsible for arthritis reported in the knees, which ostensibly develops from the patient carrying too many extra pounds.
