Scientists at the UT Southwestern Medical Center report the first successful blocking of tumor development in a genetic mouse model of an incurable human cancer, fruit of research funded provided by the National Cancer Institute, the Department of Defense, the National Institutes of Health, the Burroughs Wellcome Fund, and the American Cancer Society.
