Loss of CPRIT Funding Leaves University Of Texas Research Programs In Flux

Researchers at the University of Texas rely heavily on grant money from CPRIT, totaling between $30 and $40 million dollars. With the CPRIT funding freeze now in place, UT is unclear how the lack of funding will affect the university in the long run.
