NFC Could Come To iOS 7, iPhone 5S Via AirDrop

Perhaps soon the iPhone can join in the fun of 'tap to transfer' files as has been advertised heavily by it's competitors. As visualized in numerous TV ads, simply tapping 2 NFC phones together for a second or two (it takes longer in the real world) transfers a Video, Music play-list, or simple contact information from one phone to another.

Apple Partners With Biosecurity Firm; Could Be A Factor For NFC On The iPhone 6

A new agreement with an Australian Biosecurity technology company suggests that Apple is beginning to invest in technologies that could make NFC a reality for the iPhone 6.

iPhone 6, GS4 Will Compete Over NFC, Not Screen Size

With the iPhone 5′s new elongated screen, Apple has managed to separate itself from Samsung’s Galaxy S. 2013′s iPhone 6 and GS4 won’t battle over screen size, but rather over next-generation features, such as NFC.
